Subject: PARTICIPATION TO THE UPSKILLING OF TEACHER-RESEARCHERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACTION RESEARCH (DIVISION TRAINING ON RESEARCH FOR TEACHERS AND SCHOOL HEADS (PHASE I: CONCEPTUALIZATION TO PROPOSAL WRITING)

In line with DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017 (Research Management Guidelines), and consistent with DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2016 and the National/Regional/Division Research Agenda, this Office informs all concerned of the conduct of the activity titled “Upskilling of Teacher-Researchers in the Development of Action Research (Division Training on Research for Teachers and School Heads), Phase I: Conceptualization to Proposal Writing,” with PRC Accreditation No. PTR-2024-476-13049 (Approved: 12.0 CPD Units).
The activity shall be conducted through blended mode on the following dates: May 19–21, 2026 (virtual and on-site) for lectures and workshops; May 25–27, 2026 for virtual technical assistance sessions; and May 28, 2026 (virtual and on-site) for research proposal panel presentations) and plenary critiquing. The on-site component shall be held at a venue in the City of Mati (to be announced), while the virtual sessions shall be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
For further details, please refer to the enclosed Program (Annex A) and Participants List (Annex B). The virtual session link for Virtual Participants shall be transmitted to the concerned participants through their respective PSDS, School Administrators and School Research Coordinators. In-person participants are advised to bring their laptop, backup mobile data or mobile internet router, and extension wire.
Participation in this activity shall be on OFFICIAL BUSINESS. Meals and snacks shall be provided and charged against the Division HRTD Funds CY 2026, while transportation, per diem, hotel accommodation, incidental, and other travel-related expenses, shall be charged against School MOOE or other available local funds, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
